The Novogratz company will invest in companies related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain in the next 24 months
Blockchain-focused European investment company Cryptology Asset Group announced yesterday that it will invest $ 100 million in crypto-related venture capital funds over the next two years.
Cryptology manages fee-based investments on behalf of its partner investors and holds strategic positions in various blockchain companies and crypto assets. It is one of the few listed crypto investment companies and is traded under the ticker CAP on several German exchanges.
The company was founded by Christian anger Mayer’s Family Office, the Apeiron Investment Group, and Mike Novogratz. Novogratz is known in the crypto space as the founder and CEO of Galaxy Digital, which has the sixth largest bitcoin inventory of any publicly traded company with 4,000 BTC.
According to managing director Patrick Lowry, Cryptology has an estimated internal return of over 300% per annum. „In my opinion, there is no better asset class to bet on than crypto“ he explained. „In terms of our fund investment strategy, our vision is to work closely with our portfolio funds and provide them with access to our extensive network and experience, as well as invest with them in innovative blockchain companies and crypto assets.“
The company already provides its private and institutional investors with access to exclusive digital assets through its daily liquidity. This includes an indirect stake in the EOSIO publisher Block.one, which last month announced the upcoming launch of a new crypto exchange, Bullish.
Cryptology takes an entrepreneurial approach with its investment strategy, focusing on emerging managers and first-time funds around the world.
„We are at the very beginning of the crypto Revolution and want to be one of the leading global investors in this young, emerging asset class“ added Angermayer. „Our fund investment strategy focuses on emerging talent, takes a global approach and includes both funds investing in investments in crypto and blockchain-related companies and funds investing in crypto assets and tokens.“
